DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina State beat Miami 7-1 yesterday in pool play at the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. Trea Turner and Bryan Adametz each drove in two runs. N.C. State beat Clemson 6-3 on Thursday and can reach tomorrow's championship game by beating top-seeded North Carolina today.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Virginia Tech beat Georgia Tech 3-2 yesterday in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, clinching an appearance in tomorrow's final. Chad Pinder drove in the winning run on a sacrifice fly in the seventh.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) - Menards is sticking with Richard Childress Racing. RCR announced the home improvement store signed a multi-year partnership renewal to back the No. 27 Sprint Cup series car driven by Paul Menard. Menards first signed on with RCR in 2011.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) - NASCAR driver Danica Patrick says she's not sure she'll ever race in the Indianapolis 500 again. Patrick first earned her popularity in open-wheel racing. She says her focus now is on the Sprint Cup series and the chances of her running at the Indy 500 become "less and less likely with each passing year."
