Margaret Burnquist joined the FOX Carolina news team in May of 2007. Brand new to the Upstate, she's looking forward to getting to know the friendly people of South Carolina. She says anchoring the weekend newscasts and reporting three days a week for The Ten O'Clock News will be the best of both worlds.Before coming to FOX Carolina, Margaret anchored the nightly newscasts at KSPR in Springfield, Missouri where she got her start as an intern. She earned a degree in journalism at Missouri State University and started reporting the day after graduation.You'll probably find Margaret exploring the restaurants of the upstate since going out to eat is one of her favorite hobbies. She also likes to play golf, although she doesn't claim to be any good. She's also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. So if you spot her driving around town with a Chiefs window sticker on her car, she might need some help finding her way.
