NCAA Game Summary - Georgia At Auburn

(Sports Network) - Albert Jackson posted a game-high 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, leading the Georgia Bulldogs to a 59-54 victory over the Auburn Tigers in a SEC tilt at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.

Terrance Woodbury (eight rebounds) and Sundiata Gaines added 11 points apiece in the win for Georgia (13-15, 4-11 SEC).

Frank Tolbert scored 12 points and pulled in five rebounds to pace Auburn (14-14, 4-11), while Quan Prowell tallied 11 points and seven boards in the loss. Rasheem Barrett chipped in 10 points, five assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Auburn was held to a mere 36.7 percent from the floor during the first period, enabling Georgia to take a slight 30-27 lead into the break.

The Bulldogs connected on 52.6 percent of their attempts from the field during the second frame to take the five-point victory.

The Tigers shot a miserable 33.9 percent from the floor, including 6-of-31 from beyond the arc in the loss.
