Two Suspended From Razorbacks Football

POSTED: 1:32 pm EDT July 29, 2008

(Sports Network) - Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino announced Tuesday that two members of his football team will be suspended for the first two games of the 2008 season.

Linebacker Freddy Burton and wide receiver Marques Wade drew the penalties after both were recently cited for driving under the influence.

Both players are eligible to practice with the team, but neither will suit up for the Razorbacks' home and season opener against Western Illinois on August 30 or the following contest on September 6 against Louisiana-Monroe.
