Arkansas
2007 SEASON IN REVIEW: After beating up on Troy to open the 2007 season, Arkansas dropped back to back decisions to Alabama and Kentucky. Houston Nutt was widely criticized, and many fans called for a change. The team responded by knocking off North Texas and Chattanooga, but an October loss to Auburn that saw the Hogs score only seven points did nothing to silence the disgruntled roar of the program supporters. At 3-3, it appeared that Arkansas may miss out on the bowl season, but three consecutive victories over Ole Miss, FIU and South Carolina certainly helped the cause. While a loss to Tennessee slowed the momentum, Arkansas closed the season with back-to-back wins, including a triple-overtime triumph over LSU, the eventual national champion.
