The FOX Carolina Closings and Delays System is an automated, telephone-based system that allows registered organizations to report their statuses during inclement weather. In order to use the system you must have an organization ID number and a four-digit pass code.

To register your organization, please fax the following information as it is presented below on company letterhead to 864-987-1219:

• Organization’s Name
• E-mail Address
• Select one that fits your organization’s type and include it: School, College, Business, Day Care, Government, Church, Preschool or Other
• Primary Contact Person’s Name
• Organization’s Mailing Address
• County In Which Organization Is Located
• Phone Number
• Fax Number
• Approximate number of people who would be affected by the organization's status change
• A brief explanation of why the organization needs access to the system.

Please note that we do not display organizations either on air or online whose status is listed as “Open.” Only schools, colleges, day cares, preschools, governments and businesses are shown on air. All organizations that are registered appear online.

Once your fax is received, you will generally receive your access information within two weeks if it is submitted between the months of August and March. If your information is submitted after March, you will not receive your access information until the following school year's information is sent out in bulk.

The bulk mailing for the 2009-2010 school year was completed on Oct. 14, 2009.
