Workers are sanitizing Harrah's Cherokee Casino after 200 people became ill at the facility.

Officials at the casino said that those 200 people, which include both guests and employees, reported nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. They said that about 90,000 people have passed through the casino since the illnesses were reported.

The Jackson County Health Department said it is an outbreak of gastrointestinal distress. Officials are running tests to determine what kind of virus may have caused the outbreak.

Casino officials said they are working with the Health Department to stop the illness from spreading.
