Diesel Spill Slows Traffic On Wade Hampton

Crews Block One Lane Of Boulevard

A diesel fuel spill slowed down traffic on a heavily traveled road in Taylors on Wednesday.

The spill happened near the intersection of St. Mark Road and Wade Hampton Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire crews closed one lane of the northbound side of Wade Hampton while they cleaned up the spill.

Crews used a sand compound to soak up the spilled fuel.

There was no word on how the fuel got spilled on the road.
