The teenaged son of one of the victims of a quadruple homicide on Saturday was arrested and charged in connection with the crime, deputies said.

The shooting happened at 153 Pine Lake Drive around 9 a.m.

Neighbors said they heard about six gunshots. Then they noticed a man lying partially in a ditch who appeared to be badly injured. They said the man later died.

Investigators said after they secured a search warrant for the home, they went inside and found the bodies of two females and another male.

The four victims have been identified as 46-year-old Samuel Dickson, 46-year-old Martiza Hurtado Dickson, 19-year-old Melissa Jilian Salazar, 14-year-old Taylor Dickson. All four victims had been shot to death, investigators said.

Deputies said around 8 p.m. Saturday night, 18-year-old Nathanial Dickson was arrested in Belton. He is the son of Samuel Dickson.

Nathanial Dickson has been charged with four counts of murder and other charges are pending, deputies said.

Deputies would not comment on a motive and said there are no other suspects in the case.

Nathanial Dickson was being held at the Anderson County Detention Center and has a court appearance scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators said this is Anderson County's first quadruple homicide and only the second such case in South Carolina.
