Girl Finds Teen's Body Near Apartments

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Police said the body of a teenager was found behind an apartment complex on Sunday.The body was found behind a building at the Crescent Hill Apartments at 129 Oakview Drive.Police said a 10-year-old girl was playing nearby and spotted the body of 17-year-old Marion Brewer about 30 yards away from the playground.Investigators said the death may be the result of a robbery. They said some of Brewer’s personal items and clothing were missing.
Capt. Randy Hardy of the Spartanburg Public Safety Department said Brewer had trauma to his head.An autopsy will be preformed to determine how Brewer died.Police asked anyone with information about the case to call the Spartanburg Public Safety Department.
