Police Say Woman Found Fatally Shot In Car

GREER, S.C. -- Police in Greer said they are investigating the death of a woman found shot in her car on Monday.According to Lt. Eric Pressley, Greer police responded just before 5:30 a.m. to shots being fired at a traffic collision on Burlwood Drive, FOX Carolina News reported.Pressley said they found 41-year-old Sheila Grayson, of Bellamy Close, in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.Pressley said they are interviewing a person of interest who turned himself in to the Mauldin Police Department. He said that person has been brought back to Greer Police Department for questioning. No arrest warrants have been issued at this time.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday or early Tuesday, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
