Police said they found an arsenal of weapons inside a Greer man’s home after he pointed a gun at his neighbors.

Police arrested William Delamar after they received a call about him pointing a .45 caliber handgun at his neighbors because they blocked his driveway.

Police said when they went inside Delamar’s home they found several weapons including M-16s and a .50 caliber gun, all of which were military style weapons.

Delamar told police he is federally licensed to collect the guns.

“We’re working with the ATF to find out if they are automatic and if he can legally posses those weapons,” said Lt. Chris Varner of Greer police.

Kenneth Foster, the neighbor who said Delamar pointed a gun at him, said he is worried now, especially since there are so many young children at his home.

“There is something wrong with this guy,” said Foster.

FOX Carolina went to Delamar’s home on Tuesday to get his side of the story, but there was no answer to a knock on his door.

So far, Delamar is only charged with pointing and presenting a firearm. He was released on bond.
