CLINTON, S.C. -- A woman was shot in the shoulder during a drive-by shooting, but police said she was most likely not the intended target. The shooting happened at 101 Pruitt Park around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.Sarah Gray said she was standing on her front porch when she said she noticed a car driving down the road.“There was a boy that was just walking by the car and the car was going slow,” Gray said. “Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! I heard him say, ‘What now mother fu**er?’ Then he shot me and I hit the screen door.”
Gray said bullets were flying everywhere. She said several shots went through her home and one hit a glass picture frame and shattered it.“Only thing I saw was fire coming out of the barrel then it hit me,” Gray said. “There were about six or seven of them.”Gray was hit in the shoulder. She was taken to the hospital and treated of her wound. She now has a bandage covering the wound as it heals.Police said they are still trying to find the gunman and anyone else who was in the car. They said the shooter was probably looking for someone else who lives at the home.Anyone with information on this case was asked to call the Clinton Public Safety Department.
