ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Police said a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 15-year-old.The shooting happened at the Erskine Street apartments on Saturday night.Police said Sherwayne Bascom was arrested on Sunday and charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.
Bascom was being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $700,000 bond.
