WOODRUFF, S.C. -- Deputies said Wednesday that no charges will be filed in connection with allegations of hazing on the Woodruff High School baseball team.An investigation into the allegations began last week after a baseball player said he was spanked by his teammates while on the bus.Deputies said that after finishing their investigation, they met with prosecutors who determined that none of the players involved in the incident will face criminal charges. The school district’s superintendent, Dr. Rallie Liston, said his office will determine the appropriate consequences for the conduct of students and coaches.“We are now working to be proactive,” Liston said in a statement to FOX Carolina. “The athletic director is working on a plan for coaches, parents, students and teachers to communicate, up front, the expectations.”Liston said the plan will also include rules about when players can be transported and documenting where coaches are sitting on the bus.
