Cause Of Fire Under Investigation

An Easley woman was killed in a fire at her mobile home on Thursday afternoon.

The fire happened at about 2:30 p.m. at 111 Mary Jane Drive.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said that 58-year-old Nancy McGlothin died from smoke inhalation and thermal burns she suffered in the blaze.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
