An Easley man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Sunday night.

The crash happened at 801 West Main Street at about 10:45 p.m.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said that 24-year-old Willie Owens was not wearing a helmet when he crashed his motorcycle.

Kelley said Owens has a history of seizures and that is what likely caused the crash.

Owens suffered multiple blunt force traumas in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, Kelley said.

The crash was under investigation by Easley police.
