Victim Dies Nearly Week After Fight

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Deputies said that a Greenville man was charged with murder on Thursday after the man he’s accused of punching dies.

Investigators said that on June 12 deputies received a call from an employee at the Holiday Inn at 4295 Augusta Road about a fight in the back parking lot.

Deputies said that 33-year-old David Brozowski punched Edward Pryor, knocking Pryor to the ground. They said that when Pryor fell he hit his head on the ground.

Investigators said that since the fight Pryor has been in critical condition at St. Francis Hospital. They said that he succumbed to his injuries suffered in the scuffle on Thursday.

Brozowski was being held at the Greenville County Detention Center under no bond.
