Water Main Bursts Near Duncan

Cause Of Break Not Yet Determined

The Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District reported a water main break in Duncan, S.C., in Spartanburg County on Friday.

The SJWD Water District said the main burst at the intersection of Rogers Bridge and Victor Hills roads. The cause of the break has not yet been determined.

Residents in the following areas are advised to boil water in the 24 hours following water restoration to homes.

Boil Water Areas:
  • Homes along Rogers Bridge Road from Duncan Reidville Road to Highway 290
  • Homes on East Victor Hill Road from Danzler Road to Berry Shoals Road

SJWD Water District officials estimated that water will be restored around midnight after repairs are made.
