14-Year-Old Charged In Enoree Stabbing

Deputies: Stabbing Happened Outside Church

Deputies said a 14-year-old has been charged in connection with a stabbing outside an Enoree church on Saturday night.

The stabbing happened outside the First Baptist Church of Enoree at about 10:30 p.m.

Deputies said that the stabbing appears to have stemmed from a fight involving a number of residents near the church earlier in the evening.

Investigators said that two people were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies said the 14-year-old charged in connection with the case has been transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia. His name was not released.
