Troopers: Driver Hits Gaffney House, Flees

House Sustained Minor Damage, Troopers Say

South Carolina troopers said a car slammed into a Gaffney home on Wednesday morning and the driver of the car fled.

Troopers said the crash happened at a home on Third Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.

Investigators said the house sustained minor damage and that the homeowner was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Cherokee Chronicle is reporting that the car involved in the crash was stolen.

Anyone with information on this crash was asked to contact the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
