Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Gaffney Shooting

Shooting Comes Day After Double Killing In Area

Police said one person is dead and another was injured in a shooting Thursday in Cherokee County.

Investigators said the incident occurred at Tyler Home Center on E. Frederick Street in Gaffney.

The condition of the second victim was not released.

The shooting comes one day after a mother and daughter were bound and fatally shot at another home in Gaffney.

A police spokesperson says the shootings are likely connected but could not confirm a link.

Shell casings from Thursday night's shooting are being examined and ballistics test results are expected Friday afternoon.
