Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler said Sunday that the latest body found in Gaffney is not connected to the recent serial slayings in any way.

Fowler told FOX Carolina News that the man died of natural causes.

His body was discovered along a roadway at the corner of North Petty and East Robinson streets in Gaffney by a resident, Fowler said.

Initial reports from some media outlets labeled the finding as a homicide.
