PAULINE, S.C. -- Deputies are searching for the person who fired several shots into a fire station in Pauline, damaging two trucks inside.Gleen Springs-Pauline Fire Chief Brent Peeler said that someone shot through the metal doors of the station on Blackstock Road between the time the station closed on Friday night and when it reopened on Saturday morning.Peeler said that the shots were fired from a 40-caliber handgun.The chief said that the two trucks are out of service while they are repaired. He said that fire service will not be affected because neighboring departments have offered to help cover the gaps.Anyone with information on the shooting should call Spartanburg County Crime Stoppers at 58-CRIME.
