GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A toddler was killed when she was thrown from the car early Tuesday morning.Greenville police said that two adults and three children were in a Honda when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Academy and Pendleton streets.The Honda was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming vehicle, police said. They said that the car spun around, striking a third car in the intersection. They said that two children were thrown from the Honda.The driver of the second vehicle, as well as all of the passengers in the Honda, were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital. Destiny Smith, 2, did not survive.The cause of the crash and the toddler's death was still under investigation.
