State lottery officials said that a 46-year-old Spartanburg woman bought a $1 million Powerball ticket for Wednesday's drawing at the Hot Spot convenience store in Spartanburg on Blackstock Road south of Interstate 85.

She matched the five white balls but missed the red Powerball. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 12, 13 and 58, while the Powerball was 21. She had the lottery computer pick her numbers.

Lottery officials said that the woman did not want her name released but planned to use some of the money for a nice, long vacation.
