GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Greenville police said that a fight at a nightclub led to a shooting a few miles away early Monday morning.

Police said that a person was found shot in the professional park on Cleveland Court at about 4 a.m.

Investigators said that a fight at Club La Roka on South Pleasantburg Drive may have happened a few minutes before the shooting.

Police searched for evidence in an area near the intersection of Highway 291 and Cleveland Street for several hours.

The name of the person who was shot was not released.
