The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said it's investigating a violent robbery at a home on Ridgestone Drive in Hendersonville. It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim, 80-year-old Eugene McCormic, told FOX Carolina News he had taken 30-year-old Jacqueline Flowers to a local hospital because she had cut her arm and said she needed to see a doctor. He said Flowers is his caretaker who often stayed overnight at his home.

McCormic said on the way back from the hospital Flowers and her unidentified boyfriend, who rode along with them, started slapping him around.

He said when they got back to his Ridgestone Drive home the duo beat him. McCormic said Flowers held him at knife point while her boyfriend ransacked his home. "She had a knife swinging it," said McCormic.

Deputies said the duo took $5 from his wallet, two riffles, and one handgun. One rifle was a 30-06 with a scope and the other is an antique black powder rifle. Deputies said the handgun is a semiautomatic.

McCormic said Flowers kept talking about killing him and repeatedly telling him he was going to die. But he said the duo decided not to kill him and instead tied his feet and hands. He said the the couple pulled all the phone chords out of the jacks so he couldn't call for help.

McCormic said he managed to wiggle his knees and free himself after about 30 minutes.

Deputies said Flowers and her boyfriend stole McCormic's 2003 Chrysler Town and Country mini van. It's described as light blue, with North Carolina Plates. Deputies said the tag number is NVR-6811.

Deputies said Flowers and her unidentified boyfriend are considered armed and dangerous. McCormic said Flowers goes by Rachel.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the vehicle or the two suspects is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or Crime Stoppers at 828.697.STOP.
