COWPENS, S.C. -- One person was injured in a shooting in Spartanburg County, and another is now facing charges.

A man was shot in the abdomen shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday at 150 Foxfire Drive in Cowpens, Master Deputy Craig Bradley with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said in a release. The victim’s name and condition were not released.

A woman, Sondra Louise Mullinax, was arrested in connection with the crime, according to officials at the Spartanburg County Detention Center. She is listed on the jail’s Web site as living at the address where the shooting happened, but her connection to the victim, or a possible motive, has not been released.

She is currently charged with one count of assault and battery with intent to kill and is set to have a bond hearing at 10 a.m. Monday.
