Fight Leads To Double Shooting, Deputies Say

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Two people were shot in a parking lot near a nightclub early Monday morning, Greenville County deputies said.The shooting happened in an overflow parking lot for Club La Roka on South Pleasantburg Drive at about 3:45 a.m.Deputies said that two groups of people began fighting in the parking lot. They said that one group followed the other to the overflow lot at a vacant business and fired shots. They said the gunman jumped into a burgundy car and fled.Investigators said that two people were shot in the leg. They said that one of the victims was an innocent bystander.Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call Greenville County Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
