A $3,000 reward has been offered in Spartanburg's first homicide of the year.

Investigators said that 49-year-old Sharon Bryant was found dead in her home at 547 S. Center St. on Tuesday morning by her cousin and daughter. They said she had been there for a few days.

Police said that her family became worried after she didn’t show up for a Super Bowl party. They also said that neighbors had not seen her for days.

The investigation is focusing on evidence that Bryant was the victim of foul play, police said.

“We are going around the neighborhood, trying to find out if anyone saw someone go inside the home over the past few days,” said Lt. Ron Cantrell of the Spartanburg Public Safety Department.

Investigators said that the investigation is ongoing and that they have no suspects at this time. They said that more information will be available after the autopsy is complete.

Anyone with information about Bryant's death was asked to call Spartanburg County Crime Stoppers at 58-CRIME.

The reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of Bryant's killer.
