GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A fight a turned into a stabbing in Greenville County early Wednesday morning.

The stabbing happened inside an apartment on Lee Street at about 1 a.m.

Police said that three men were fighting and one of the men was stabbed in the lower back. There was no word on what led to the fight.

The victim was expected to recover, but the two other men involved in the fight fled the scene.

Anyone with information about the stabbing was asked to call Greenville County Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
