GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Deputies charged three more people Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at a store in April.Archive:
Man Arrested In Killing At Dollar GeneralDewayne Gregory Jr., 23; Derek Duncan, 21 and Avery Thomas, 23, were each charged with murder and armed robbery.The charges stem from the shooting death of Joshua Bryant at the Dollar General store at 5922 Augusta Road on April 27.Investigators said that about about 4:15 p.m. that day, Bryant walked into the store after he saw a man wearing a bandanna over his face and carrying a gun walk into the store. Bryant's family said that his mother had walked into the store moments before the gunman walked in and that he went inside to check on her.Bryant confronted the gunman near the front door of the store and was shot and killed, deputies said.Tremain Davis was arrested the following day and charged with armed robbery and murder in connection with Bryant's death.Investigators said that Davis, along with Gregory, Duncan and Thomas, planned the robbery. They said that Gregory provided the gun, Duncan was driving the getaway car and Thomas acted as a look out inside the business during the crime.All four men were being held at the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.Anthony Dunlap, who was charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the shooting, has been released on $10,000 bond.
