NCAA Game Summary - Richmond At Wofford

(Sports Network) - Tim Hightower rushed for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, leading Richmond into the semifinals of the FCS playoffs with a 21-10 victory over Wofford.

Hightower ran 23 times for 88 yards, as the Spiders (11-2) established a school mark for wins this season and will play at Appalachian State next Saturday afternoon.

Eric Ward completed 20-of-30 passes for 181 yards with a touchdown and was picked off once for Richmond, which also got eight receptions for 92 yards from Kevin Grayson.

Josh Collier went 9-of-15 for 112 yards and was intercepted once for the Terriers (9-4), who lost despite rolling up 195 yards on the ground. Kevious Johnson led the rushing effort with 16 carries for 89 yards.

Michael Hobbs scored on a one-yard run with 3:34 left in the third quarter, boosting Wofford to a 10-7 lead.

Hightower then scored on a one-yard run with 11:55 left, and Richmond got the ball back at the Wofford one after a botched punt attempt. Hightower scored with 8:40 remaining.

Patrick Mugan kicked a 22-yard field goal with 7:47 left in the second quarter, but Richmond went ahead on a Ward 10-yard pass to Joe Stewart with 4:19 left in the half.
