Greenville, SC -- (Sports Network) - Clemson head basketball coach Oliver Purnell has reportedly agreed to a contract extension that runs through the 2015-2016 season, according to the Greenville News.

Purnell has been with the program for six years and guided the Tigers to three consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in school history.

He had signed a two-year extension through 2014 a year ago.

Purnell led Clemson to a 23-9 record last season and its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
