Jade Hindmon is a weekend anchor and weekday reporter for The Ten O'Clock News on FOX Carolina

Jade grew up in St. Louis, and went to school at Florida A & M University, where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Jade began her career in the Peach State where she worked as a reporter and fill in anchor at WFXL-TV in Albany. She then moved to WTVM-TV in Columbus.

Prior to working in Georgia, Jade was an intern at Dateline NBC in Washington, and the CBS News Network in Atlanta. She got her first taste of the business as a production assistant at the NBC, CBS, and UPN affiliates in Tallahassee, Fla., while in college.

In January 2007, Jade moved to the Upstate of South Carolina and joined FOX Carolina as a reporter. She was moved to the anchor position in January 2010.

Pets: I have a mini schnauzer named Cleo.

Community Service: I'm a member of the YWCA Junior Board.

Most Memorable Story: The story about 8-year-old Dymia Woody will always be the most memorable to me. It was a heart-wrenching story. I think out of her tragic loss came a heightened awareness about knowing and protecting the children in this community.
