Exclusive interview with former friend of Jared Loughner
We've got an exclusive interview with Bryce Tierney, a former friend of Jared Loughner, who says he received a "final goodbye" voicemail from Jared on Friday evening. We'll have the full interview on KOLD News Live at 10, or streaming at KOLD.com.
Here's an excerpt:
Erica Hill: We talked a little bit about how disturbing it was for you to get that voicemail on Friday night.. and then obviously the chain of events since then. What has it been like for you because you said this isn't the Jared that you know, not the Jared that your family knew?
Bryce Tierney: Yeah, it's been really weird because, I lose contact with someone for almost a year…they show up on national—first it was local—it became national really fast. They show up on the news killing people. And its just really weird y'know—it's terrible what he did. What he did was terrible. And, it's just really weird to be put in a spot where you know the people, you know the parents…I can't imagine what the parents are going through.
