Greenville police have arrested a man in connection with the 2007 shooting death of a Greenville man who was killed while leaving work.
Isaac Bass, 22, was found shot to death outside the Wendy's restaurant on North Pleasantburg Drive in January 2007.
Police said that they arrested 21-year-old Korey Love has been charged with murder, attempted armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a pistol by a persons unlawful.
Investigators said that the arrest came after receiving tips that came in during news coverage of the third anniversary of Bass' death in January. They said that they were able to determine that Love was one of the people involved in the shooting.
Bass' family recently held an auction to increase the amount of the reward in the case in hopes of generating new leads.
"When we were at the cemetery, I promised Issac I wouldn't give up on him and find who did this to him and get justice for him," said Jeff Creel, Bass' stepfather.
Police said they expect to make more arrests in the case.
