ASHEVILLE, N.C.It is time for the Bele Chere festival in Asheville again. The music and art festival will take over the streets of downtown Asheville throughout the weekend.
Vendors were busy Thursday afternoon putting up tents and getting the streets blocked off for the crowd of people expected to turn out this year.
Bele Chere runs from noon Friday through Sunday night.
Festival organizers said that parking will be tight, so they suggest festival goers have a parking plan, or use the shuttle system to get downtown.
Organizers also have set up misting tents and specific air conditioned areas for folks needing to take a break from the heat.
FOX Carolina meteorologist Alexandra Wilson said that temperatures will climb into the lower and middle 90s in Asheville over the weekend. She said that rain chances are low for the festival.
