The crash happened at 502 Pumpkintown Highway about 4:20 p.m. Friday. Investigators said a state vehicle, heading west, was hit head-on by a pickup truck traveling east that crossed the center line. The Pickens County Coroner's Office said 36-year-old Chrystal Nicole Harrison, of Seneca, and 10-year-old Raven Alania Stancil, of Pickens, were in the state vehicle and died at the scene. Both were wearing seat belts, the Coroner's Office said. Two boys, ages 15 and 17, were also in the car. They were injured and taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, troopers said. Julie Mason, of Marietta, was driving the truck. She was taken to an area hospital. On Wednesday, troopers said Mason was charged with two counts of felony driving under the influence with great bodily injury and two counts of felony driving under the influence involving a death. Mason was expected to go before a judge for a bond hearing on Wednesday afternoon.
