CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The Carolina Panthers signed 10 players to their practice squad. Signed to the practice squad Sunday were wide receivers Tavarres King and Marcus Lucas, running back Darrin Reaves, offensive lineman Andrew McDonald, defensive tackles Micanor Regis and Casey Walker, linebackers D.J. Smith and Adarius Glanton, cornerback Carrington Byndom and safety Robert Lester.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Tarik Cohen and Kwashaun Quick each scored two touchdowns and North Carolina A&T defeated Alabama A&M 47-13 in the MEAC/SWAC challenge Sunday. Cohen had 161 yards rushing as the Aggies parlayed big scoring plays into a 38-6 halftime lead that gave the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference its eighth victory over the Southwest Athletic Conference.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Bud Cauley won the Hotel Fitness Championship on Sunday to regain his PGA Tour card, earning $180,000 in the Web.com Tour Finals opener. Cauley closed with a 7-under 65 at Sycamore Hills for a one-stroke victory over Colt Knost.

HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) - Kasey Kahne grabbed the lead on the restart following a caution with 23 laps remaining and held off Matt Kenseth in a two-lap shootout to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday night. Kahne's first win of the season earned him a spot in the Chase for the Sprint cup.
