STARR, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two teens were killed and four other people were injured in a crash in Anderson County on Tuesday.

The crash happened on Highway 29 near Trotter Road.

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said a car carrying six people pulled out in front of a truck and was hit.

Shore said two people, identified as 14-year-old Peter Kovalishin, of Anderson, and 18-year-old Michael Athens, of Starr, were killed in the crash. He said the other four people in the car were flown to local hospitals.

Kovalishin and Athens were passengers in the car, Shore said. He said both died from blunt force trauma and cervical spinal injury.

Two of the injured have not been identified. South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said the other injured victims are Ann Athens and Laura Athens, both of Starr, SC.

The driver of the truck was not hurt in the crash, according to troopers.
