SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg police said the man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in July was arrested Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened about 5 a.m. July 25 at 108 Norris St.
Police said that when officers arrived they found a man, identified as 27-year-old Cedric Moss, lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound to his right armpit. They said Moss was unconscious when they arrived.
Moss was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
Police said after the shooting that 37-year-old Keith Letmon was wanted in connection with Moss's death.
On Thursday, police said Letmon was arrested at the Sun and Sand Motel at 150 Sun and Sand Rd.
Letmon was charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a weapon by a person convicted of a violent felony.
