SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg man accused of downloading and distributing child pornography was arrested Thursday.

Christopher Desjardins, 29, was charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and eight counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to arrest warrants, Desjardins distributed and downloaded pictures of children engaged in sexual acts.

Desjardins was released on bond.

If convicted, Desjardins could face up to 90 years in prison.
