BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

One person was killed and two more were injured in a shooting in Spartanburg County on Thursday night.

The Spartanburg County Coroner said Rashad Glenn, 19, and two others were shot at 102 Falcon Ridge road in Boiling Springs at 9:20 p.m.

Glenn was a member of the Byrnes High School band.

Deputies said they received several calls about gunfire from residents in the neighborhood.

Glenn and one the other victims were found inside the living room of the house while the other victim was found outside on the front porch, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

The two surviving victims were taken to a local hospital.

Deputies said their condition is not known at this time and their names have not been released for safety reasons.

A fourth person was also inside the home but deputies say that person was able to stay hidden from the gunmen.

Witnesses told deputies that they saw multiple suspects leave the scene after the shooting in a dark-colored vehicle that looked like an SUV, although the number of suspects is unknown.

Investigators said they think that robbery was a motive for the shooting based on their overnight investigation.

"We are not going to comment right now what was taken from the scene but based on statements from witness there, we believe robbery was a good motive for this," said Lieutenant Tony Ivey, Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at CRIME-SC.
