ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
The White House released more details Thursday about President Barack Obama's planned campaign stop in Asheville next week.
Officials said the president will speak to a crowd at the Asheville Regional Airport at 10:50 a.m. Monday morning.
The event is free and open to the public, but attendees will need a ticket.
The ticket will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis at gate six of the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
From Asheville, the president will travel to Millers Creek and Greensboro in North Carolina and then on to Virginia.
Both North Carolina and Virginia are considered crucial to Obama's re-election campaign.
