ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A big green cow is out there somewhere and Karen Sullivan, with Anderson's Chick-Fil-A on Clemson Boulevard, wants it back. And a hefty reward is being offered for its return.

Sullivan said they are offering a year's worth of chicken for information leading the cow's safe return. That comes out to be one free meal per week.

Sullivan said someone stole the cow between 11:30 p.m. on Halloween (Monday) and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The cow's body is made up of three pieces of metal that are attached by wire to its legs which are cemented to the ground. Sullivan said whoever did this had to have wire cutters and cut the body off the cow's legs.

Sullivan said the cow has been a fixture at the restaurant since beginning of August.

The Anderson Police Department is investigating the stolen cow.
