Charges dismissed for TR doctor accused of fondling 2 patients
Dr. Titus Daniel Caddell (Travelers Rest Police Dept.)
TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -
UPDATE: According to the solicitor's office, Dr. Caddell's charges were dismissed after he completed pre-trial intervention.
A Travelers Rest doctor was arrested Monday after two patients accused him of inappropriately touching them, police said. Since his arrest, police said five more patients have come forward.
According to arrest warrants, both a current patient and a former patient of Dr. Titus Daniel Caddell, 53, told investigators that he touched their private parts under and over their clothing to gratify himself.
Travelers Rest Police Chief Lance Crowe said he will not release the age of the victims but said they are both adult women.
Crowe said he is not releasing many details about the case because of the possibility that there may be other victims or witnesses.
Caddell was charged with two counts of first-degree assault and battery. He was released from jail on bond.
