GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Travelers Rest doctor accused of fondling patients had his license to practice medicine temporarily suspended, according to the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners website.

FOX Carolina reported that more charges were filed against Dr. Titus Daniel Caddell, 53, who Travelers Rest Police said turned himself in to authorities on Nov. 23 after he was told three more warrants had been issued for his arrest.

The board's website does not list a reason why his license was suspended but the suspension is currently in effect.

Caddell was arrested Nov. 14, after two patients accused him of inappropriately touching them, police said.

According to arrest warrants, both current patients and former patients of Caddell told investigators that he touched their private parts under and over their clothing to gratify himself.

Caddell has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault and battery and three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

The doctor has been released from jail on bond.
