SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Oconee County deputies said they arrested three men following several months of investigation in the trafficking of more than 100 pounds of meth.
The bust started Wednesday and was executed by the Oconee County narcotics division and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms at a home on Dawn Cove Road in Seneca. They said the sting operation lasted well into Thursday morning.
Deputies said the investigation led to the arrest of Jody Lee Palmer, of Seneca, Christopher Dale Graham, of Seneca, and Billy Joe Singleton, of Salem.
Palmer and Graham were both charged with distribution of methamphetamine and trafficking more than 100 grams of methamphetamine. Singleton was only charged with distribution of methamphetamine.
"Oconee County was being used as a distribution hub, with the meth being sent to other adjoining counties," Chief Deputy Terry Wilson said. "Today our deputies have taken a lot of drugs off the streets of the upstate."
Deputies said their investigation into the "major drug conspiracy ring continues," and further arrests are likely.
